POINTS FOR ATTENTION
- Do not apply butter, oil, lotions, or creams, especially if they contain fragrance, on burned skin.
- Don’t break blisters. Fluid-filled blisters protect against infection.
- Don’t use ice. Putting ice directly on a burn can cause further damage to the tissue.
