Emergency Bandage

The emergency trauma dressing, also called Israeli bandage, consists of a resilient elastic wrap equipped with a sterile non-adherent pad, a durable securing device, and an innovative Quick-Grip Roll Control configuration. This combination facilitates a rapid, controlled, and extremely effective application process in the most demanding conditions. It can also be used to sling and swath an arm, to secure splints to an extremity, or to perform any other function requiring an elastic wrap.

  • Easy, intuitive application; immediate solution for a wide range of injuries.
  • Integrated pressure applicator exerts direct pressure.
  • Non-adherent sterile pad acts as a primary dressing.
  • Elasticized wrapping leader acts as a secondary dressing.
  • Simple closure bar doubles as a windlass when utilized as an improvised tourniquet.

emergency bandage introduction
Q1: What's the MOQ for true pressure emergency bandages?

A1: The MOQ is 2000 pcs. Please contact our sales team for details.

Q2: What is an Israeli Bandage and what is it used for?

A2: The Israeli Bandage is an all-in-one emergency pressure dressing for controlling bleeding. It combines a sterile wound pad, elastic bandage, pressure applicator, and closure system in one compact unit. It is mainly used for controlling bleeding from traumatic wounds.

Q3: What is the difference between the 4" and 6" versions?

A3: The main difference is the width and coverage area. The 4″ version is more compact and lightweight, making it suitable for extremity and head wounds and IFAK applications. The 6″ version offers greater coverage and suits larger wounds and broader body areas.

Q4: Can it be applied with one hand?

A4: Yes. The pressure applicator is designed to allow the user to create focused pressure while wrapping the elastic bandage. This makes the product suitable for self-aid and emergencies where only one hand is available.

Q5: How does the pressure applicator work?

A5: After placing the wound pad over the injury, the elastic bandage is passed through the pressure applicator and pulled back. The applicator then concentrates pressure on the wound as the bandage is wrapped around the injured area.

Q6: Is the wound pad non-adherent?

A6: Yes, the wound pad is designed to minimize adhesion to the wound, helping reduce disruption of the wound when the dressing is removed. This is a common feature of emergency pressure dressings.

Q7: Is the bandage sterile?

A7: Yes, the standard configuration is supplied as a sterile, individually packaged emergency dressing.

Q8: Can it replace a tourniquet?

A8: No. It is primarily a pressure dressing, while a tourniquet is designed to occlude arterial blood flow in a limb. The appropriate device depends on the injury and bleeding location. Emergency pressure bandages are generally used to maintain pressure over a wound, while tourniquets are used for life-threatening extremity bleeding when indicated.

Q9: Can it be used for military and tactical applications?

A9: Yes. Emergency pressure dressings are widely used in military and tactical first-aid applications, as well as in civilian emergency care.

Q10: What materials are used?

A10: Our Israeli Bandage consists primarily of an elastic bandage, sterile wound pad, pressure applicator, and closure component. The exact material specifications can be provided according to the product configuration.

Q11: What sizes and configurations are available?

A11: We can offer different sizes, such as 4″ and 6″, as well as different configurations and packaging options according to customer requirements.

Q12: Can the packaging be customized?

A12: Yes. We can provide OEM/ODM customization, including packaging design, labeling, language, logo, and other requirements, subject to MOQ and regulatory requirements.

A13: What certifications and test reports are available?

Q13: We can provide the relevant product documentation and test reports according to the specific product configuration, including applicable quality, material, sterilization, and mechanical performance documentation.
